Landform Fengshui: Questions to Ponder
Landform Fengshui: Questions to Ponder

qnswhyThe Landform Fengshui (峦头) learned by many practitioners today is based on memorizing the do’s and don’ts, not only for Internal Landform (内峦), but also external Landform (外峦) Fengshui. Furthermore, what the positive or negative influences are due to Landform Fengshui are also based on memorizing.

This highlights the lack of correct understanding and application of Landform Fengshui by many practitioners today still. How do you know what you memorize and apply is correct? How much can you memorize? Have you not ponder what the underlying core principles of Landform Fengshui are and how they are derived and explained according to 易理?

For example, regarding a common statement on the placement of bed, “床不宜靠虎边,太近则逼虎而恐伤人、影响睡眠又不利健康。。。”. For “床不宜靠虎边”, is such do’s and don’ts correct? How do you know if it is correct or wrong? Based on…? Are your answers based on 易 principles?

Likewise, for “太近则逼虎而恐伤人、影响睡眠又不利健康。。。”, are such influences correct? Again, how do you know if it is correct or wrong? Based on…? If the above statement is indeed correct, why such influences? And, is it always true for all situations? Also, with regards to “不利健康”, what are the specific health issues? Again, are all your answers based on 易 principles?

If what you know of Landform Fengshui, whether it is Internal or External Landform, is based on memorizing the do’s and don’ts and the corresponding influences, you will easily encounter situations which are either not in the range of what you have memorized or not matching exactly to the particular situation which you have memorized. What happens then? How do you assess the Fengshui? Or worse, what if those you have memorize and apply is incorrect? Will you be able to know immediately? Very likely, by the time you realized it is incorrect, several wrong assessment will have already been made...

Qns 1: Below is a simple layout of a bedroom. For the layout below, do you think the Internal Landform Fengshui is ideal? What are the positive or negative Fengshui influences from such layout?

Qns 2: Now, what if there is a toilet in the room as shown below? Will there be any changes in your answers? Why?

Qns 3: Below are some examples for External Landform Fengshui. For situations encounter such as these, what are the exact Fengshui influences? Why?

If you are unable to answers these questions using the principles of 易, and/ or require memorizing the do’s and don’ts and the positive/ negative Fengshui influences due to such Landforms as widely practiced by many today, then you have yet to understand Landform Fengshui.

Since the Way of Fengshui is (风水之道) is inseparable from 易, the answers to these questions must and can be derived and explained by 易理, and not literally. One should not 知其然而不知其所以然!

Qns 4: Do you know the underlying core principles for all these three questions above are the same?!!

...The underlying core principle, 心印也! 心印, also known as Xuan Kong (玄空), is the core universal principle of 风水之道, derived and based on Yi Jing (易经). 一切有迹可寻。。。

行道者要知明, 求道者要辩明!
