Wealth is of a keen interest and concern of many people, and rightly so, given that it has a strong influence on the other aspects of our life these days. For every New Year, either through the wealth of information that can be found in the internet or through one of the many Fengshui talks organized yearly by many practitioners, one can be certain of reading/ hearing about the location of the “Wealth Star” for that particular year, and in the case for Year 2012, this “Wealth Star” is located at the West direction, with the arrival of Annual Star 8.

Knowing the “Wealth Star” is located at the West this year, almost without fail, the West direction or West sector of the house becomes one’s interest and focus; such as checking what makes up the West sector of one’s house, that is, whether it happens to be the main door, bedroom or kitchen etc, and/ or deciding what items to be placed in that sector etc., all primarily with the intent on utilizing and enhancing this “Wealth Star” to one’s benefit, for the betterment of wealth obviously. Furthermore, without a doubt, many would have carried out this “ritual” yearly; tracking, utilizing and enhancing this “Wealth Star” in one’s house.

However, if you are indeed one of those who have carried out such yearly “ritual”, I believe by now, you would have actually realized that your financial conditions did not really improve greatly after all; the betterment of wealth is negligible, or even futile!

Why is this so? The betterment of wealth through the “Wealth Star” is not as straightforward as one may think… Using an alternative way of explaining to allow the layman to understand better, I shall share below, the factors that greatly influence the effectiveness and strength of the “Wealth Star”.

1. Constitution of the House and Person

Ingredients such as Abalone or Ginseng (Wealth Star), as we know, are delicacies possessing high nutritional benefits. But are the benefits and nutrition value when consumed similar for an elderly compared to a child? What about a sick person compared to a healthy person? Because of the differences in their constitution, the benefits and nutrition value when consumed is not the same! Thus, depending on both the constitution of the house and the occupants, the effectiveness and strength of the “Wealth Star” will vary! This important factor also happens to be one which most people neglected, largely due to ignorance in determining the constitution.

2. Location of the “Wealth Star”

Abalone or Ginseng may be differentiated by its country of origin, and because of the different country of origin and the condition of the place it is harvested, such differences plays a part in its eventual quality, which differs from place to place! Thus, depending on where the “Wealth Star” is located in the house and the conditions of the location, the effectiveness and strength of the “Wealth Star” will varies!

3. Method of Utilizing the “Wealth Star”

As one obviously knows, there are many different ways of preparing, cooking and consumption of the abalone or ginseng. Each method has its own unique purpose and beneficial value. Likewise, there are also several different methods of utilizing the “Wealth Star”, and most important of all, the effectiveness and strength of the “Wealth Star” varies from each method!

4. Execution Process of Utilizing the “Wealth Star”

The steps of cooking a simple dish, for example, may seem uncomplicated and straightforward to many on the surface, but when it comes to the actual execution of the cooking, it is not uncommon to find many botch the dish, especially when technique and correct grasp of the finer details during the actual execution of the cooking such as the preparation, controlling of the heat/ fire, seasoning, etc., starts to play a crucial role for a successful execution and completion. Similarly, when it comes to the execution process of utilizing the “Wealth Star”, the technique and correct grasp of the finer details play a crucial role for either an eventual successful or unsuccessful execution.

5. Qian Kun Principle

Individually, each of the above factors mentioned thus far are important in their influence on the effectiveness and strength of the “Wealth Star”.
