If one intends to place Water based features such as fish tank, which locations should one place in the property? For Period 8 (1996 to 2016), locations that are ideal for Water based features are South, Northwest, West and Northeast of the property.

These locations, with Water based features, are ideal for improving wealth. However, granularity in the placement of the Water based features is required within these locations for better effectiveness in Period 8. Furthermore, whether it is appropriate to use a pump for the water based features would differ for each location, depending on when it is activated. Yet, how do we know if a property is in Period 8?

I have also heard of situations where people mentioned how their wealth did not increase after placing the water based features in locations advised by their Fengshui practitioner. Putting aside whether or not the location chosen was right and/ or the activation was done right, do they know whether their property is Auspicious or Inauspicious in the first place?
