Increasing of wealth is undeniably one main reason why many people engage a Fengshui practitioner, to locate the wealth locations (财位) and choosing auspicious dates to activate the wealth locations. But why often the results are not evident or not what one expects it to be? Or why an adjacent house, having the same wealth location and using similar auspicious dates produces different results?

How much understanding does one have prior engaging a Fengshui practitioner regarding the above questions, and after engaging a Fengshui practitioner, how much one has understand?

Besides selecting the right wealth location, choosing the appropriate auspicious date and activating the wealth location the right way, one should have the correct understanding of what wealth location essentially means.

• Whether or not the property is Prosperous or Auspicious is not due to interior layout and placement of furniture and fittings, or placement of Fengshui items, or activating the wealth location

• Even if the Property is Prosperous, the wealth Auspiciousness is not evident every year; There are specific years which such Auspiciousness is evident. Likewise for activating the wealth location (财位). Similarly, if the Property is Inauspicious, there are specific years which such inauspicious is evident

• Wealth location (财位) need not necessarily be the location for increasing or hastening wealth (催财)

• Though in general, activating the wealth location or undertaking 催财 actions are to increase wealth, if the property is Inauspicious, actions of increasing wealth may best minimize the outflow of wealth or having only limited wealth auspiciousness, rather than a change of the property from Inauspicious to Prosperous or Auspicious

• Activating wealth location or undertaking 催财 actions require the consideration of Heaven (Time), Earth (Location) and Man (Person in Question) factors for Date Selection

• Effects from actions of 催财 are not long lasting. For effective results, continuous 催财 may be required

提升财运，不可否认是现代许多人请地理师的目的，选择所谓的财位、择日来催动。不过为何效果往往不明显或不理想，又或为何在隔壁的邻居，同样的财位，同样的时间催动，有不同的效果呢？请地理师前，对于这些疑问有多少的了解，请地理师后，又是否真了解？

除了选择对的财位、择日的选择和应用要对以外，要认知的就是所谓催动财位的要点是什么了。

一，宅的财旺与否，绝对不是内局、或自家催财的首要因素。

二，即使是财旺的宅，也不是每天每年有明显的财禄之应。同样，催动财位也是。

三，财位未必是催财的位，两者不同。

四，所谓催，就是增强。如本身是财败的宅，催得效果是有限的，可有减轻损财之应，不可能一催就成财旺之宅。如本身是财旺的宅，催得效果就是增强财禄之应。

五，既然是催，考虑的有天、人、地合，所以第一次的催，如某方面不佳，也未必有效果。

六，催财效果不会维持长久，需连续催
