There was once a man who was blind and stays in a house bought by his relatives. His relatives decided that on every festive occasion, they will gather together at his house to visit him for celebration and company. Each day, the man will feel his way around his house, and he can’t help but feel troubled from the seemingly bare furnishing in his house and the grainy feel of the walls and antiques. He felt he is living in a worn out house and this saddens him.

Hence one day, he invited a designer over to see if anything can be done to improve his house. The designer came over and saw how the house feels barren from the modest furniture around, the antiques lying on the shelf, the grainy walls around, and felt the current state of the house leave much to be desired. From his years of experience in home design for various houses, he decided to give this house the furnishings every standard house should have, the antiques replaced with modern art furnishings and the walls repainted with smooth and modern wall décor.

Though these changes cost him a considerable amount of time and money, the man felt it was well worth it as the changes made have given him a sense of newness with regards to his house. Finally, no longer he lives in a shabby house but in a decent proper new house, he thought.

On the next festive occasion, as promised, his relatives came to gather at the man’s house. As they approached the house from afar, one of them said “Staying in such a classical luxurious villa surrounded by amazing sceneries, furnishing specially selected and arranged for him considering his handicap, I hope he has been happy in the house we bought for him so far”

曾经有位盲人，住在亲戚所买给他的一栋房子里。亲戚们打算每逢佳节就一起聚在这位盲人家里，一起庆祝与陪伴。这位主人通过手的触摸和脚踏的感觉天天到处在家里走动，不禁觉得房子里空旷、无多的家具和粗燥的墙壁和摆设品，让他感到忧愁，觉得自己是住在一个破旧的家。

就因为这，一天他请了一位设计师，希望这名设计师能改善自己的家。这名设计师走进家里一看，稀少的古董家私和粗燥的墙壁，认为此家有许多不足之处。凭着多年为数人设计家居的经验，对于此家，这名设计师的建议首先就是让这个家拥有所谓一个标准家里所必备的家私，古董的家私也换成附有现代艺术感的家私，墙壁也重新粉刷一番。

虽然这些改善花费了不少时间和金钱，这位主人觉得非常值得，因这些改善让房子给了他一种新颖感。他心里想，终于不再是住在个破旧的家里了，而是个像样和体面的新家。

在接下来的佳节，亲戚们按照约定，一起前往这位盲人的家聚聚。当他们从远处走向这位盲人的家时，一名亲戚这时说＂住在这古典豪华别墅里，优雅的风景围绕着别墅，又特别为行动不便的他而购选、摆放的家私，希望这些日子以来他还开心吧！＂
