春生、夏长、秋收、冬藏。 Sow in Spring, Develop in Summer, Harvest in Autumn, Store in Winter. Not only do these eight words reflect the Cycle of Life in Nature, but they also contain profound knowledge that deeply influences one’s destiny, success and failure.

Such was the case of two recent clients who came to see me for advice on their business when I was in Malaysia early this month doing Fengshui assessment. In both cases, they have each left their corporate job to start their own business not long ago. From their Life Structure (命格), one notable difference, amongst others, was that one begins his “Sowing in Winter”, whereas the other begins his “Sowing in Spring”.

Needless to say, one can easily guess from here the different business venture outcome for each of them… One must remember: never overlook the influence Nature’s Cycle of Life has on one’s venture success or failure. 因时制宜! But is that all to these eight words? Of course not….
