Entering your bedroom, study room or office, where is your bed, study or work desk located? In terms of Interior Landform Fengshui (内峦头), what is the ideal layout for the bed, study or work desk?

In today's homes, the design of the kitchen is no longer just a simple consideration of functionality. Aesthetics factors such as individuality and theme has become important as well, sometimes even as the primary factors in kitchen design.

This is a layout of a master bedroom. Regarding the fengshui of bedrooms, in terms of form (layout, items itself etc) analysis (内栾), the focus typically are place on assessing the bed and built-in toilet location. However, needless to say, if one is to go further into details, common items such as the dressing table, wardrobe etc can too, be assessed.

Location of bathrooms/ toilets in most homes are fixed, or rather, it is often not within practical or cost means to relocate them. They are commonly located at the back of the kitchen and/ or in the master bedroom. There are numerous different views held by most people and even Fengshui practitioners with regards to the location of bathrooms/ toilets.

People will tend to agree that simplicity is bliss and would yearn for it. Conversely, this may not apply when it comes to the perception of Fengshui. Most tends to gauge the quantity; number of items a Fengshui practitioner assess when he or she visits a property as a judgment of quality, from location of toilet bowl, colors of furniture and fittings to location of every electrical items etc.

While having a chat with a good friend, we discussed about her sister's house, where renovation works has been carried out to knock away the partitioning wall of another room to widen the master bedroom. From this, I then briefly mentioned to her that her sister may need to be careful of certain 'negative Fengshui consequences’ as a result. To which, she replied it has already occurred. What negative Fengshui consequences can there be from this?
